Who we are
Squire founders have proven and award-winning track records in television, advertising and music content with expertise in directing, producing, marketing and finance. Our award-winning directors and creatives have been chosen for their ability to produce work that stands out, engages, inspires and innovates. At Squire we believe ideas should be owned. This is why we have a department whose sole aim is to develop and exploit our ideas around the world.
Astrid
Astrid specialises in producing anything and directing mainly music-based documentaries. She has produced award-winning music videos, commercials, documentary series, longform entertainment programs, brand identity and short films working worldwide with established UK and US directors.
Phil
Phil began working in an art studio in Camden on some of the first digital video projects. He then produced TV commercials and music videos with the largest production companies in London for world known brands and bands. Phil is co-curator of the BUG Music Video Show which has been running for 10 years as a bi-monthly showcase of creative talent in collaboration with the BFI.
Jay
Jay is an upcoming director who’s been working on documentaries, music videos, fashion content and commercial work. Producing, directing, shooting and editing, Jay is all hands on deck. A dynamic and curious nature, with a good knowledge of technical film and post production makes him a highly versatile creative director.
Emma
A young recruit knocked on our door one day speaking frenglish and carrying dusty cameras. Emma juggles production, art direction, editing, and digital. Despite her young age she also worked in graphic design, marketing, events, and has been capturing and documenting over 20 countries worldwide. Therefore open minded, and road addicted she never stops digging for inspiration.
Lee
Lee is Head of New Projects and comes to us with over 20+ years of business development experience. Lee cut his teeth within the world of publishing and advertising, having successfully owned and run his own business and then moving onto Future Publishing, Account Director for Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and Prog magazine, working with such clients as Warner Music, Universal, Monster Energy, Red Bull, Gibson, Marshall and many more.
